FunTaskTik — Terms and Conditions of Use
- Version:
- 1.1
- Last updated:
- August 26, 2026
1. Purpose and scope
These Terms and Conditions of Use govern access to, registration for and use of FunTaskTik, including the mobile application, the official website and associated services that expressly state that they are subject to these Terms.
FunTaskTik is a digital tool intended to facilitate family organisation and coordination.
These Terms form the contractual framework applicable to use of the service.
The Privacy Policy, the Children and Parental Responsibility Policy and any other applicable legal documents complement these Terms within their respective areas.
2. Acceptance of the Terms
Creating a FunTaskTik account is reserved for persons aged 18 or over and requires express acceptance of these Terms.
During registration, the user must declare that they are 18 years of age or older and must have the opportunity to review the Terms before accepting them.
FunTaskTik does not currently request date of birth or carry out general documentary age verification. The declaration of legal adulthood forms part of the contractual registration framework.
If the user does not meet the age requirement or does not accept the current Terms, they must not create a registered FunTaskTik account.
Reading or acknowledging the Privacy Policy is an action separate from contractual acceptance of these Terms.
3. Service provider and contact
The service is provided under the name FunTaskTik.
Official website: https://funtasktik.com Contact: funtasktik.contact@gmail.com
Legal information relating to the owner or service provider that must be provided under applicable law will be available in the FunTaskTik Legal Notice.
4. Description of the service
FunTaskTik allows users to organise certain family activities through features that may include:
- creation and management of families;
- management of family Members;
- family profiles;
- profiles representing minors managed by adults;
- creation and assignment of tasks;
- calendar and task tracking;
- recurring tasks;
- shared lists;
- shopping lists;
- list items;
- reminders;
- notifications;
- and other features related to family organisation.
The specific features available will be those included in each version of the service.
References in communications, documentation or promotional materials to future features do not mean that those features are available until they have actually been incorporated into the product.
5. User accounts
Registered FunTaskTik accounts are intended exclusively for users aged 18 or over.
A user who creates an account declares that they meet this requirement and must provide accurate information and keep reasonably up to date the data required to use the service.
The user is responsible for:
- protecting their credentials;
- using an appropriate password;
- not sharing credentials with third parties in a way that compromises account security;
- keeping reasonably secure the device from which FunTaskTik is used;
- supervising any use by minors that they allow within their family context;
- notifying FunTaskTik of any unauthorised access of which they become aware.
FunTaskTik may apply reasonable authentication, reauthentication or verification measures where needed to protect an account or perform sensitive operations.
6. Family and Member structure
FunTaskTik distinguishes between:
User account: global identity registered through Firebase Authentication and Users/{uid}. Under the current model, it is intended for persons aged 18 or over.
Family: shared organisational space.
Member: a person or profile belonging to a particular Family. A Member is not necessarily a registered FunTaskTik account.
Role: a functional classification and set of permissions of the Member within that Family.
Membership of a Family is independent from the existence of a global account.
A Member with uid = null and registered = false is a family-scoped profile managed within the Family and does not independently have Firebase Authentication or Users/{uid}.
The values child, adult and admin are functional system classifications. They do not constitute age verification and do not establish the date of birth of the person represented.
Accordingly:
leaving or being removed from a Family does not necessarily mean deleting the global FunTaskTik account.
Likewise, certain data created within a Family may functionally belong to the shared Family space rather than exclusively to the person who created them.
7. Roles and Family administration
FunTaskTik may establish different functional roles within a Family, currently child, adult and admin.
Choosing child or adult for a Member is not an age statement or age verification. It is for the authorised adult user to organise profiles in their Family in the manner they consider appropriate for their family use.
Administrators have additional powers to manage Members, roles and certain settings.
To exercise effective administrative powers, a registered and authenticated account linked to the Member is required. A profile with uid = null and registered = false cannot independently perform administrative actions even if its family classification is changed.
Users must exercise these powers only in relation to Families they are authorised to manage.
FunTaskTik may establish rules intended to preserve the integrity and security of a Family, including the need to retain at least one valid registered administrator where necessary for the Family to continue to exist.
8. Profiles representing minors
FunTaskTik allows an authorised adult to create and manage family Members that may represent minors.
Under the current model, where role = "child" is used:
- the Member is not, by itself, an independent global account;
- it does not have its own Firebase Authentication merely by existing;
- it does not have its own
Users/{uid}while remaining unregistered; - it does not need its own email address or password;
- it is created and managed within a Family by an authorised adult user.
FunTaskTik does not currently request the age or date of birth of these Members. Therefore, role = "child" is a functional classification selected within the Family and does not establish a specific age. Likewise, using role = "adult" does not by itself make a minor eligible to create a registered account.
An adult who creates or manages data relating to a minor declares that they have the responsibility, representation, authorisation or other lawful authority required to do so.
The responsible adult must avoid providing personal information about the minor that is not necessary to use the service.
Specific requirements relating to minors, parental responsibility and processing of their data are set out in the Children and Parental Responsibility Policy and the Privacy Policy.
9. Parental responsibility
FunTaskTik is a family-organisation support tool intended for registered adult users.
It does not replace:
- parental supervision;
- care of a minor;
- the obligations of parents or guardians;
- educational judgement;
- decisions that belong to the minor's legal representatives.
The adult user is responsible for how they use FunTaskTik within their Family, including creation and management of profiles representing minors, the data they enter, the family permissions they configure and the tasks, activities, instructions or rewards they choose to use.
Adults are responsible for determining which tasks, activities, instructions or rewards are appropriate in light of the minor's real age, capabilities and circumstances, regardless of the role technically assigned to the Member.
FunTaskTik must not be used to assign minors illegal, dangerous or manifestly age-inappropriate activities, or activities requiring adult supervision that will not be provided.
These responsibilities of the adult user do not exclude or reduce FunTaskTik's own obligations as service provider and, where applicable, controller of personal data.
10. User-provided content
Authorised users may enter content necessary to use the service, such as:
- names;
- tasks;
- descriptions;
- instructions;
- lists;
- list items;
- other information permitted by available features.
The user retains any rights that legally belong to them in the content they enter.
To the extent necessary to provide the service, the user authorises FunTaskTik to store, process, synchronise, technically reproduce and display that content to authorised users.
This authorisation is limited to operations necessary to provide, maintain, protect and technically improve the service in accordance with applicable law.
11. Prohibited content and conduct
FunTaskTik must not be used to:
- carry out illegal activities;
- enter unlawful content;
- harass, threaten or harm other people;
- infringe third-party rights;
- enter personal data that the user is not authorised to provide;
- distribute malware or malicious code;
- attempt to access accounts, Families or data without authorisation;
- bypass authentication or security mechanisms;
- deliberately interfere with operation of the service;
- engage in abusive automated use;
- exploit vulnerabilities;
- use the service in a manner incompatible with its legitimate purpose.
FunTaskTik may take reasonable measures against abusive, fraudulent or illegal uses, or uses that compromise the security of the service or its users.
12. Shared Family data and content
Tasks, Lists, Items and other data created within a Family may constitute shared information of that Family.
A Member leaving or being removed does not necessarily mean that Family data previously created by that Member must disappear.
Where necessary to preserve consistency of shared data, FunTaskTik may:
- reassign responsibilities;
- detach references;
- anonymise certain historical references;
- retain shared data that functionally belongs to a surviving Family.
These operations must be performed in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
13. Tasks and assignments
Tasks may be created and assigned to Family Members or to the Family as a whole depending on available features.
Assignments made through FunTaskTik are organisational tools among Family Members.
FunTaskTik is not responsible for the nature of tasks created by users or family decisions relating to their performance.
Responsible adults must take particular care to ensure that tasks assigned to minors are appropriate.
14. Notifications and reminders
FunTaskTik may provide notifications relating to tasks, assignments and other service events.
It may also provide reminders scheduled on the device.
Their operation may depend on:
- device permissions;
- operating system;
- user settings;
- connectivity;
- availability of external services;
- operation of the device itself.
FunTaskTik does not guarantee that a notification will be delivered instantly or at an exact time.
Notifications and reminders are auxiliary features.
They must not be used as the sole alert system for emergencies, medication, personal safety, care of persons or other situations where a delay or failure could cause harm.
15. Security
FunTaskTik adopts reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect the service and the information processed.
However, no computer system or Internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security.
The user must reasonably cooperate in protecting their account, credentials and devices.
16. Technology providers
FunTaskTik may use technology providers necessary to provide certain features.
The service currently uses Google Firebase technologies for certain authentication, data storage and synchronisation, backend and notification functions.
Information on providers, data processing and international transfers, where applicable, is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Future incorporation of new providers that materially affect data processing or the contractual relationship will require the corresponding technical and legal review.
17. Intellectual and industrial property
The FunTaskTik application, its software, code, design, interface, graphic elements, logos, original texts, structure and other protectable elements are subject to the intellectual or industrial property rights belonging to their respective owners.
Use of FunTaskTik does not transfer ownership rights in the service to the user.
While the user is entitled to use FunTaskTik, they are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable authorisation to use the application in accordance with these Terms.
Third-party content and signs remain the property of their respective owners.
18. Availability of the service
FunTaskTik seeks to keep the service available and operational but cannot guarantee permanent, uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Interruptions may occur in connection with:
- maintenance;
- updates;
- technical incidents;
- connectivity problems;
- operating systems;
- third-party services;
- security;
- force majeure;
- other circumstances reasonably beyond FunTaskTik's control.
Where possible, reasonable measures will be taken to restore the service.
19. Product evolution
FunTaskTik is a product that may evolve.
Features may be added, modified or withdrawn for:
- technical;
- operational;
- security;
- legal;
- regulatory;
- product reasons.
Where a change materially modifies the contractual relationship or legally requires additional information or acceptance, the corresponding measures will be taken before applying the change to the affected user.
20. Free service and future monetisation
FunTaskTik is currently provided without advertising or active subscriptions.
This may change in future versions.
Future introduction of:
- Premium features;
- subscriptions;
- purchases;
- advertising;
- other economic models
will require the corresponding economic and contractual terms to be provided in advance and these Terms and other legal documents to be updated where necessary.
The existence of this clause does not mean that any paid feature currently exists.
21. Suspension of the service or an account
FunTaskTik may take reasonable restriction or suspension measures where there are sufficient indications of:
- fraud;
- abuse;
- illegal use;
- serious or repeated breach of these Terms;
- security compromise;
- unauthorised access;
- attacks on the service;
- compliance with a legal obligation or request from a competent authority.
Any measures taken must be reasonable and proportionate to the circumstances, without prejudice to immediate action necessary to protect service security or comply with a legal obligation.
22. Leaving a Family
Leaving a Family or being removed as a Member of a Family does not amount to deletion of a global account.
Where a user ceases to belong to a Family, FunTaskTik may perform the technical operations necessary to remove their membership and reconcile the shared data of that Family.
The global account may continue to exist and the user may use the options made available by FunTaskTik to create or later join another Family.
23. Account and data deletion
The user may request deletion of their global account and associated personal data that must be erased under applicable law.
Requests may be sent to:
funtasktik.contact@gmail.com
FunTaskTik may request reasonable identity verification before carrying out deletion to prevent fraudulent or unauthorised requests.
Deleting a global account is different from removing a Member from a Family.
Where shared data belonging to a Family exist, operations necessary to preserve data legitimately belonging to other Members may be performed, while removing, detaching or anonymising personal references to the deleted user where appropriate.
Where the user is the last valid administrator of a Family, it may be necessary to resolve what will happen to that Family and its data before account deletion can be completed.
Certain data may be retained for the period strictly necessary where there is a legal obligation or a legitimate need relating to security, fraud prevention or defence against claims.
Specific deletion and retention conditions are set out in the Privacy Policy and the public account-deletion resource.
When the official web account-deletion resource is operational, it will be available through https://funtasktik.com.
24. Privacy and data protection
Processing of personal data relating to FunTaskTik is governed by its Privacy Policy.
That Policy provides information on matters such as:
- data processed;
- purposes;
- legal bases;
- providers;
- retention;
- rights;
- international transfers where applicable;
- profiles representing minors;
- devices and notifications;
- account and data deletion.
Acceptance of these Terms does not constitute general consent for any current or future processing of personal data.
Where processing legally requires specific consent, it must be requested separately where applicable.
25. Protection of minors
FunTaskTik is intended for registered adult users and does not currently offer independent accounts intended for minors.
Data relating to minors may appear within a Family where an authorised adult user creates and manages a Member representing them.
The technical classification role = "child" does not constitute age verification. FunTaskTik does not currently request the age or date of birth of family Members.
Profiles representing minors must be used under the management and responsibility of authorised adults. FunTaskTik applies a data-minimisation principle and does not intend such profiles to be used to store unnecessary personal information.
If FunTaskTik later introduces registered accounts for minors, features marketed directly to minors or new categories of children's data, the architecture, Privacy Policy, Children and Parental Responsibility Policy and applicable Google Play declarations must be reviewed in advance.
Specific rules relating to minors are set out in the Privacy Policy and the Children and Parental Responsibility Policy.
26. Exclusion of critical uses
FunTaskTik is a general-purpose family organisation application.
It is not designed as:
- an emergency service;
- a medical device;
- a medication management system;
- a personal safety system;
- a surveillance system;
- a dependent-person care system;
- critical infrastructure.
The user must not rely exclusively on FunTaskTik in situations where a failure, delay, loss of connectivity or absence of a notification could cause serious personal or material harm.
27. Liability
FunTaskTik will be liable to the user where applicable law so provides.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FunTaskTik will not be liable for damage arising exclusively from:
- use contrary to these Terms;
- content or tasks created by users;
- decisions made by Family Members;
- activities carried out without necessary supervision;
- compromised credentials due to circumstances attributable to the user;
- failures of devices or networks outside the service;
- third-party services outside FunTaskTik's reasonable control.
Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Mandatory statutory rights of consumers and users will prevail where applicable.
28. No guarantee of family outcomes
FunTaskTik is intended to facilitate family organisation and may include mechanisms designed to support autonomy, task tracking, reminders or motivation.
However, FunTaskTik does not guarantee any specific outcome regarding:
- behaviour;
- education;
- motivation;
- family relationships;
- completion of tasks;
- performance;
- family dynamics.
Promotional references to facilitating organisation, reducing reminders or encouraging autonomy describe product goals and potential benefits, not a guarantee of individual outcomes.
29. Changes to the Terms
These Terms may be updated where necessary due to:
- legislative changes;
- regulatory changes;
- substantial modifications to the service;
- new features;
- changes to the contractual model;
- security;
- equivalent justified reasons.
Each relevant version must have a version identifier and date.
Where a modification legally or contractually requires renewed acceptance, the user must have an opportunity to review the new version before accepting it.
Until a mandatory pending acceptance has been completed, FunTaskTik may restrict normal access to the service to the extent necessary to complete the corresponding legal process.
30. Evidence of acceptance
FunTaskTik may retain evidence reasonably necessary to demonstrate acceptance of these Terms.
This evidence may include:
- the account that performed the acceptance;
- the version accepted;
- date and time;
- application version used.
Retention and use of this information will take place in accordance with the Privacy Policy and for the legally justified period.
Updating the Terms does not necessarily require immediate deletion of earlier evidence where there is a legitimate basis for retaining it.
31. Governing law
As a general rule, these Terms will be interpreted in accordance with Spanish law.
Where the user is a consumer, this choice will not deprive them of mandatory protections available under applicable law and private international law rules.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit rights that are legally non-waivable.
32. Dispute resolution
For any issue relating to FunTaskTik, the user may contact:
funtasktik.contact@gmail.com
The parties will seek in good faith to resolve issues that can be resolved directly.
Where the user is a consumer, the bodies and courts determined by applicable law will have jurisdiction.
These Terms do not require the consumer to waive any forum or protection mechanism to which they are legally entitled.
33. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is declared invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
Where possible, the affected provision should be interpreted in the valid manner that most closely reflects its legitimate purpose.
34. Prevalence of mandatory law
These Terms are not intended to exclude or limit rights established by mandatory law.
If any provision conflicts with a mandatory rule applicable to a user, that rule will prevail to the necessary extent.
35. Languages
FunTaskTik may make these Terms available in several languages.
The different versions should seek to maintain legally equivalent meaning.
Where applicable law requires a particular language version to prevail or to be provided to the consumer, those requirements will be respected.
36. Contact

Specific enquiries relating to privacy, exercise of rights or account deletion may also be made through the channels identified in the Privacy Policy and the specific resources provided for those purposes.
