FunTaskTik — Account and Data Deletion

1. How to delete your account

You can start deletion from within the app using the account deletion option. Before completing a sensitive operation, we may ask you to verify your identity again.

You may also request help or exercise your rights by writing from the email associated with your account to funtasktik.contact@gmail.com.

2. Difference between an account and a family profile

Deleting your FunTaskTik account is not the same as leaving a family or deleting only your profile within it.

If you only leave a family, your account may continue and you may use the available options to create or join another family.

3. What happens to your personal data

When deletion is completed:

• your access and the profile associated with your account are removed;
• FunTaskTik data associated with your devices are deleted or detached where appropriate;
• personal references that no longer need to remain are deleted, detached or anonymised;
• the account is not merely disabled temporarily.

4. Shared family content

Tasks, lists, list items, calendars and other content created within a family may be needed by people who remain in it.

Deleting an account therefore does not necessarily erase all shared content. If the family continues, that content may remain, but your personal references are deleted, detached or anonymised where appropriate.

5. Assigned tasks

Before a person's profile is removed, tasks assigned to it are reassigned or left unassigned. Historical references that do not need to identify the person may be anonymised.

6. If you are an administrator

• If another registered administrator exists, the family can continue.
• If you are the last administrator and another registered adult can take over, you must select that person and expressly confirm the change before deletion is completed. FunTaskTik does not make a silent promotion.
• If you are the last administrator and no other eligible registered adult exists, you must confirm that deleting your account will also delete the family and its shared data.

7. Child profiles and pending adults

Child profiles are created and managed by adults and are not independent accounts. If deleting your account also deletes the whole family, its child profiles and other family data are removed, except for anything that must be retained temporarily under a legal duty.

If a pending adult profile is removed, its pending personal data disappear. Its tasks may remain but are no longer assigned to that profile. Lists and list items may remain as shared content.

8. Local data and reminders

Where appropriate, the app clears local data and reminders associated with the deleted account from the device.

Some copies or data managed by the operating system may depend on its own processes. You may also review your device settings.

9. Limited legal retention

We may temporarily retain information strictly needed to comply with legal duties, protect security, prevent or investigate fraud or abuse, or establish, exercise or defend claims.

Retained information is restricted to those purposes and is not reused for advertising or marketing. Providers may keep backups or records during their applicable recovery and retention periods.

10. Time limits and data protection rights

Data-protection rights requests are handled without undue delay and generally within one month. Where the law allows an extension due to complexity or the number of requests, we will inform the person within the applicable period.

We will request only information reasonably needed to verify the identity or authority of the person making the request.
