1. Scope

This Policy explains the use of cookies and similar technologies on the official FunTaskTik website:

The app and other services are covered by the Privacy Policy.

2. What these technologies are

Cookies and other forms of browser storage allow information to be stored on or retrieved from a device. Depending on their purpose, they may remember a necessary preference or help measure use of the website.

The name of this Policy covers all of these technologies, even where a tool uses information stored in the browser for a session rather than a cookie.

3. Your choices

Analytics tools are initially disabled. You can accept all, reject all or choose Google Analytics and PostHog separately. The website remains available if you reject analytics.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the cookie settings link available on the website. Withdrawal prevents new measurements from that point and, where applicable, removes or resets analytics information stored in your browser by those tools. It does not mean that data sent earlier are automatically deleted from each provider's systems.

When you reject analytics, the necessary preference that records your rejection may remain so that we do not ask you constantly and can apply your choice.

4. Technologies used

Consent preference — FunTaskTik

• Purpose: remember whether you accepted or rejected each tool and apply your choice.
• Category: necessary.
• When used: after you save a choice.
• Duration: up to 180 days, unless you change the choice or clear your browser data sooner.

This preference is not used to measure your activity.

Google Analytics

• Purpose: obtain statistics about visits, navigation, use and website performance.
• Category: optional analytics.
• When used: only after you allow Google Analytics.
• Cookies: _ga and _ga_<identifier>.
• Duration: the default duration of these cookies is up to two years; browser settings or limits may shorten it.

FunTaskTik does not use this configuration for personalised advertising, remarketing, Google Signals or advertising audiences.

PostHog

• Purpose: understand specific interactions with public pages and the beta access process.
• Category: optional analytics.
• When used: only after you allow PostHog.
• Technology and duration: technical information stored in the browser for the session to maintain consistent measurement.

The configuration used does not record sessions or automatically record all your activity. The technical information used to maintain measurement is limited to the browser session.

5. What is not measured

Analytics is used only on certain public pages of the website, currently the home page and beta access page. It is not used on legal pages or pages intended for authentication, recovery or account deletion.

We do not deliberately send names, email addresses, account data, family or child profiles, task or list content, form entries, free text or other app content to these tools.

6. Browser settings and external links

Browsers normally allow you to view, block or delete cookies and other stored data through their privacy and security settings. If you clear them, we may need to ask for your choice again.

Links to external pages do not by themselves install those third parties' technologies on the FunTaskTik website. Once you leave our site, the external service's policies apply.

7. More information and changes

The Privacy Policy explains in more detail the purposes, providers, retention and rights relating to analytics.

We will review this Policy if the technologies, providers, purposes or applicable periods change. If a change requires fresh consent, we will ask for it again before activating the relevant processing.
